Abductors
The Abductors primarily the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and tensor fasciae latae (TFL) are key stabilisers of the pelvis and hip joint. They move the leg away from the midline and maintain alignment during running, squatting, and single-leg work.
Strong abductors improve balance, posture, and knee stability, reducing the risk of injury during dynamic movements. Functional training often underemphasises this group, yet they play a major role in athletic control and everyday movement.
At Relentless Bravery Fitness, the abductors represent balance through strength subtle but essential for long-term performance.
