Intro: Mastery in sport is built on repetition. Whether you’re a footballer working on foot skills or a rugby player honing handling, this challenge is simple: 100 deliberate touches with the ball.

No opponent. No pressure. Just you, the ball, and pure technical refinement.

What Counts as a “Touch”

  • For footballers: toe taps, sole rolls, ball juggles, inside/outside foot work
  • For rugby: pass and catch reps, handling drills, spin passes to a wall
  • Bonus: use both hands or feet to develop ambidexterity

How to Structure It

  • Choose 2–3 drills that require control, rhythm, and coordination
  • Perform 50 reps on each side (e.g., right foot / left foot, right hand / left hand)
  • Track time to complete — aim for quality, not speed

Why This Matters

  • Builds confidence under pressure
  • Increases sport-specific fitness (agility, balance, timing)
  • Reinforces proper body mechanics
  • Great for warm-ups, cooldowns, or solo skill sessions

Upgrade It

  • Add a partner for passing drills
  • Use a wall for rebound challenges
  • Add a balance component (e.g., stand on one leg, use a BOSU ball)

Pair it with:
