DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be bringing our ‘Fittest in the City’ series to Brisbane\, Australia on the weekend of the 28/02 and 01/03.  \n\n\n\nWHAT IS FITTEST IN THE CITY?   \n\n\n\nThis is our competition format where teams compete in back to back workouts – with various breaks in between each workout.  Teams will be tested on conditioning\, strength\, power and of course teamwork! \n\n\n\n95 mins – that is the time from the start of your first heat\, to the end of your fourth and final workout. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nClick here to \n\n\n\nENTER YOUR BRISBANE TEAM\n\n\n\nWORKOUTS\n\n\n\nThe workouts for the 2026 Brisbane TURF Fittest in the City will be live mid December.  Want to start training now?  Here are workouts from the past 2 seasons to practice. \n\n\n\n\n2024 \n\n\n\n2025 \n\n\n\n\nThe workout for 2026 will follow a similar structure –  \n\n\n\n\nWORKOUT 1 – ENGINE – Ergs and 200/400m runs\n\n\n\nWORKOUT 2 – STRENGTH – In the Lift Arena \n\n\n\nWORKOUT 3 – RIG ARENA – An AMRAP style workout with dballs\, dumbbells\, wall balls\, carries\, burpees\n\n\n\nWORKOUT 4 – RELAY SPRINT finish with dumbbells\, carries\, ergs\n\n\n\n\nWHEN & WHERE\n\n\n\nThe Brisbane 2026 FITC will be held at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event will be in the indoor halls at the venue on Saturday 28 Feb and Sunday 1st March. \n\n\n\nHeats will run from 8am until 7pm Saturday and 8am until 6pm Sunday \n\n\n\nSaturday 28th February \n\n\n\nCompeting teams will be all \n\n\n\n\nMale teams\n\n\n\nFemale teams\n\n\n\n\nSunday 1st March \n\n\n\nCompeting teams will be all \n\n\n\n\nMixed teams\n\n\n\n\nFAQ 1 – Can you compete in both a male or female team\, and then a mixed team. Yes\, absolutely.   \n\n\n\nFAQ 2 – What time will I be competing? Teams will be assigned their heat time prior to the event – keep scrolling for an indication.  When you enter your team\, your category and division will have a ‘block’ of time assigned.  Your heat will be within this block. i.e. Female everyday teams will start between ‘8.00am and 11.00am’ on Saturday.  Heats will start every 25 minutes.  Please see further info below. \n\n\n\nFAQ 3 – Can I buy multiple teams? Yes you can. Across the day teams and athletes will take on workouts that have various elements – strength\, conditioning\, power\, speed and most importantly – teamwork.  Nothing high skill – just grip and rip as you and your team are cheered on by thousands of fellow athletes and spectators\, pushing you beyond what you thought was possible! \n\n\n\nKEY INFO\n\n\n\nDATE – Saturday 14th (Elite + Everyday teams) + Sunday 15th (Intermediate teams) February 2026 \n\n\n\nLOCATION – Farnborough International Exhibition Center\, Gate F\, GU14 6TQ \n\n\n\nTIMINGS – Athlete + Spectator arrival from 8.00 until 6pm. First heats 9.00am each day. DESCRIPTION:Dubai are you ready?  We are excited to be hosting\, for the first time to Dubai …. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nENGINE will kick off the 2025 Fitness Festival\, being held on Friday night\, 21st of November\, under lights at ISD Stadium in Sport City. \n\n\n\nWe will have epic tunes and a big crowd cheering you on to help you push your limits. \n\n\n\nWHEN – Friday Night 21st November\, heats staring from 4.30pm to 8.15pm \n\n\n\nWHERE – ISD Stadium\, Sport City\, Dubai \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nClick here to \n\n\n\nENTER YOUR ENGINE TEAM\n\n\n\nTURF ENGINE\n\n\n\nFollowing its success at our sold out events in London since 2021 – we can’t wait for our Middle East community to test themselves in this concept.  Turf Engine is an endurance race featuring all the machines we love – ski\, row\, bike + running – mixed with a few movements with equipment like dumbbells\, dballs\, burpee broad jumps and more – ultimately testing your ENGINE!  It’s not about how strong you are\, it’s about how you can work together and how fast can you move. The workout will be between 45 and 65 minutes long – depending on your fitness level! \n\n\n\nThis will be a pairs event with divisions of \n\n\n\n\nMale\n\n\n\nFemale\n\n\n\nMixed\n\n\n\n\nEXAMPLE WORKOUT\n\n\n\nSee below an example of the workout you will be taking on.  The exact workout will be released in October and will be very similar to the below –  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt will be one athlete working at a time on the ergs.  Both athletes must complete the run together. \n\n\n\nHOW FAST CAN YOU GO?\n\n\n\nDETAILS\n\n\n\nFriday Night Lights Engine will run on the 21st November with heats starting at 4.30pm\, through to 8.15pm.   \n\n\n\nThis event is perfect for everyone – no matter what your fitness background\, OCR\, running\, functional fitness\, its is low skill and simply comes down to your… ENGINE. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy\, compete and be part of the Turf Games community. \n\n\n\nYour heat time will be provided to you up to 3 weeks before the event. Your ENGINE ticket gives you access to the Summer Festival all weekend to enjoy watching other athletes compete and take in the atmosphere. \n\n\n\nAcross the weekend we will have the following age categories –  \n\n\n\nPAIRS\n\n\n\nTurf Engine will be a pairs event.  The below age categories is an average age – you would add each athletes age together and divide by 2 to give your pair’s age bracket (i.e. 40 y/o + 34 y/o = 37 so 35+ category) \n\n\n\n\n16-34 years\n\n\n\n35+\n\n\n\n\nAll athletes in the above Pairs categories will compete in the same workout\, however\, athletes will be positioned on their relevant age based leaderboard.  There will be division options of  \n\n\n\n\nMale pairs\n\n\n\nFemale pairs\n\n\n\nMixed pairs\n\n\n\n\nPRIZES\n\n\n\nThe winning pair in each category will win a partner prize pack from Turf and our partner brands.  Then\, fastest pair in the male pairs\, female pairs and mixed pairs divisions will win 1\,000AED (this is not awarded per age category but overall fastest in each division) \n\n\n\nCOST \n\n\n\n\nPer pair – $140 USD\n\n\n\n\nYour ticket cost also includes spectator entry to Saturday of the weekend.  \n\n\n\nThis event is about pacing – you come out of the gates too ‘hot’ and you will be in the hurt locker quite soon.
